"Love
Dance" Music Sample
The songs in Love Dance were 'composed'
during this first musical dialogue between these two gifted musicians,
and were later recorded live, direct to digital, with no overdubs.
You enjoy the sensitivity and warmth of their live performance
as if you were there. And recording directly to the digital master
gives you the cleanest, most dynamic sound. Forty-seven minutes
of original composition, including Love Dance, Footprints,
Remember When, Aperitif, Sweet Dreams, Evolution.
Rusty Crutcher brings his sensitivity
to the sounds of the earth to his expressive alto saxophone. Emmy
Award winning Jim Oliver, well-known for his work with music,
tones and healing, plays electronic keyboards in progressions
he has researched.
"We received more phone calls about
'Love Dance' than any music we've played in our almost seven years
on the air. [It's] the most inviting and hauntingly beautiful
piece of music I've ever heard.''
-- LuAnn and
Alan Hutner, 'Cosmosis', Santa Fe,NM KBAC
"Love Dance' is beautiful the way
it creeps up on you. Magical how it makes time pass...Delightful
and very accessible."
-- John Kares, NEOS, Toronto, Ontario
"This virtuoso improvisation
of Rusty's delicate alto saxophone and Jim's lilting electronic
keyboards evokes a warm, heartfelt sense of settling into a restful
evening at home at the end of a long, hard working day, in which
you can easily imagine the traditional candlelight dinner and
wine being replaced with yoga and meditation."
- DIMENSIONS, CANADA
"It
is always a thrill to encounter the sensitive, evolutionary music
of a well-rounded, multi-dimensional composer such as saxophonist/synthesist
Rusty Crutcher....LOVE DANCE is.. lovingly intimate music, uncluttered
by egoistic virtuosity, warm, gentle, heartfelt."
- BODY MIND SPIRIT, Lee Underwood
