Music, like a pilgrimage to a sacred site, can help us remember in the deepest sense what we already know exists within us all: that all spaces imbued with positive spiritual intention enable us to transcend the earthly plane. Experience a pilgrimage in sound to time-honored places of exceptional spiritual presence. With carefully recorded nature & environmental sounds and in the stillness of nature and place, I compose the music on these recordings. I attempt to create quiet music that stirs that place.
Currently I’m completing an instrumental collection of “Latin Romances”. The songs on this CD are incredible treasures from Central and South America, all between 1917 – 1987. Also, I’m playing a lot of tenor saxophone on this CD and loving it. It will be available by May 1, 2013. Fantastic music that’s genre is latin jazz.
In March, I start work on my 7th Sacred Sites Series recording, “Oracle at Delphi: Sybils and Gods.” In May/June of 2012 I traveled to Greece and Turkey for an awesome journey/experience.
